Introduction

King of Avalon almost always has one or two seasonal events being active. At this time the Midsummer Event is one of them. This guide explains how the event works.

How Midsummer Event Works

During the duration of the event you receive Marigold items when gathering resources on kingdom tiles. These Marigold items show up in your inventory where you can use them to get prizes. There is no reward for slaying monsters.

Marigold items

You do not have to do anything else as what you normally have to do anyway to get Marigold items, just send your troops out gathering whenever you are not using them for anything else. So far I have received 4 or 5 Marigold items for Level 6 tiles, so there is some variation. It might depend on the time spent gathering.

You do not get any Marigold items for gathering on an Alliance Resource Tile, so this might be a reason to gather on the kingdom map only during this event.

Prizes

You get your prizes by selecting the Marigold items in your items and clicking Use. Prizes I have received include: Gold, 100 Lord EXP, 100 Dragon EXP, 10 Assault Power, 10 Guardian Power, 30m VIP, 10 VIP Points, 100 Dragon Spirit EXP, 1K Food, 1K Wood, 200 Iron, 50 Silver, Knucklebone, 5m Speedup, 2h Firm Defense, Materials (Animal Hide, Cerussite, Pine, Bronze, Cypress, Emerald, Amethyst, Fire Opal, Spider Silk, Soul Clay), Sentinel Gem (I).

Conclusion

There is not much to it, just do what you normally do and collect the extra prizes, the same as several seasonal events before. If you have any questions, or comments, let me know in the comment section.
