The Basics

Remove two fields with the same number, or two fields with numbers adding up to 10 from the board. The two fields you remove should be adjavent horizontally or vertically, the last field of one row and the first field of the next row, or the first field of the first row and the last field of the last row. Emptying a complete row will remove it from the board and shift everything up. You have the option to add rows, which will add all remaining numbers on the board at the bottom without the empty spaces. Goal is to remove all fields.

Difficulty

I played the same game before from another maker, but at that time I didn't fully understand the concept of adding rows, didn't realize there is no randomness. This makes the game quite a bit more interesting, although it is not easy to foresee what the consequence will be from adding new rows.

Variation

There is a lack of variation. There seems to be one standard game that starts with the same layout of numbers, this one is for me so far impossible to solve (I got a few times four fields left and should have probably used reshuffles to finish it, as it was I added new rows, couldn't remove any fields, and game over). There are daily challenges with a different starting position.

Visually

Numbers look clear, but simple. Fine for this type of game.

Free vs Paid

This game is fully functional for non spenders. Monetiziation seems to mostly be via watching ads to get hints and do reshuffles.

Is It Any Good?

I give Match Ten 8 out of 10 stars. Very hard challenging game.
