The Basics

Swap and match game where you need to make matches of at least 3 tiles by swapping two tiles. Matching more than 3 creates special tiles that help you reach your goals faster. Levels have a limited number of moves. There is an icecream related story you progress through as you complete more levels.

Difficulty

Levels get tougher quite fast, already before level 20 I didn't complete some levels on the first run.

Variation

As is usual with these types of games new game concepts are introduced as you progress, which offers variation, although so far there is very limited variation compared to other Match 3 games I played.

Visually

The graphics look great.

Free vs Paid

Feature complete for non spenders. You can spend money on packs with boosters, unlimited lives for a period of time, and in game credits that can be used to buy extra moves when you have failed a level.

Is It Any Good?

I give Ice Cream Challenge 7 out of 10 stars. Nice, but lacking an original twist on the Match 3 genre that most games have.
