Allocate blocks in a 5 by 5 field to place buildings. Blocks consists of components of one or two colors. Components with the same color in adjacent positions merge to form higher buildings if there are the same number of components around a buildings. Watch the tutorial a couple of times and play around to figure things out, you need to see it. Creating higher buildings give more points, but are also more difficult to use in future merges, so if you get the possibility to destroy a building, consider the tall ones if you think it is unlikely you can merge them further.

Tutorial and Review of the puzzle game High Rise.
This is a one level game, but it is giving quite a challenge. Aim to beat your own high score.
The variation is in the different starting field and different order in which you get blocks
The interface gave me the feeling I was playing a game from the previous century in a good way.
Feature complete for non spenders. There are ads in between games, but you can play quite long before being confronted to watch an advertisment. The dialog asking to pay for ad removal or accepting to watch an ad, somehow makes the ads a lot less annoying than when they are just appearing.
I give High Rise 9 out of 10 stars. Wow, so simple, but so well done and challenging.
