The Basics

Match 3 game with a Harry Potter theme. You need to make matches of at least 3 tiles by swapping 2 tiles. Make matches of more tiles to get special tiles that can help you achieve your goals faster. Each level provides a field of tiles and a goal (e.g. eliminate a certain amount of one type of tile) to be completed within a certain amount of moves. Completing a level unlocks a next level, and help you progress in the story line.

Difficulty

Supposedly the difficulty will increase, but early on the levels are all very easy to complete.

Variation

New features and tile types are introduced as you progress further in the game.

Visually

All the graphics look great, both the Match 3 game itself, as the Harry Potter story line that binds the levels together.

Free vs Paid

You can purchase packs with in-game credits, temporarily unlimited lives, and boosters that help you clear levels.

Is It Any Good?

I give Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells 8 out of 10 stars. Great Match 3 game for Harry Potter fans.
