The Basics

Swap and match game where you need to make matches of at least 3 tiles by swapping two tiles. Matching more than 3 creates special tiles that help you reach your goals (typically remove a certain number of tiles of a specific color) faster. Levels have a limited number of moves. The in game credits you earn by completing levels can be used to improve your garden. There are fun mini-games in between certain levels.

Difficulty

The levels start easy but become a real challenge before you reach level 10.

Variation

The new goals and tiles keep this game fun. Also the mini games, although simple, are a nice variation.

Visually

The tile swap game itself and the garden stories both look great.

Is It Any Good?

I give Gardenscapes 9 out of 10 stars. This tile swap and match game is just different enough from Candy Crush to make it a great variation.
